Supplements
As a health consultant with over 15 years of experience in the health care industry, what supplement should I be taking is a question I get asked often.
The truth is, it is always food first.
But there are a couple of supplements I do advise everyone to have.
Vitamin D 1000 IU daily. - Especially if you live in the northern hemisphere. Great for supporting health bones and a strong immune system.
Omega 3 & 6 Essential Fatty Acids - Essential meaning we have to get them in our diet as our bodies don’t produce them.
Vital for heart, brain, and eye health, helping to lower blood pressure, reduce triglycerides, and support brain function and vision. Good sources our 2 servings of oily fish per week but a supplement is a nice insurance policy if this isn’t possible or consistent.
